mjd - 2013
my work is driven by thoughts and feelings.
i came upon some words of rumi that resounded richly -
'the wound is the place where the Light enters you.'
mjd - 2013
where the Light enters,
it heals and intensifies.
this results in a need
for its release
so as to share it with others.
mjd - 2013
loose ends
can have purpose.
mjd - 2013
they are like a hand extended
or a rope thrown to a drowning person.
available and willing
to anyone who needs them.
creating ties where none existed before.

I saw this thought provoking post as well; love what you did with it.
Touching and beautiful
thank you.
Wow, what beautiful words of wisdom and how well they fit with your weaving. You are such a beautiful spirit, Mary. I love your work. You can feel the peace and harmony in your pieces :) xo Genea
I have so missed your caring, sensitive and thought provoking blog posts. You are able to put so much meaning with with so few words.... You are a one-of-a-kind, maire.
xxoo
Those words hold a lot of meaning for me today too. Thank you for the reminder to refocus.
I love the weaving. It seems an appropriate direction for YOUR refocus. You bring so much of yourself to each art piece you create.
Be Well, Be Better.
A thought is a prayer.

*Maire, my apologies for misnaming you ;) Having a unique name I get that more than I could count so I am glad I know the right spelling ;) xo Genea
Thank you, Maire, for sharing these lovely words. The timing was very appropriate for this period of my life.
Blessings to you and your family
