This is a group SALE TRIAL RUN so please link up your SHOPS for practice.....
Feel free, however, to advertise on your own blogs regarding this group sale.....
Encourage more to join in on the fun......
If all goes as planned, please stop back on Sunday for the actual link up and the date that we have decided to run the sale.....
Hey, maybe we could have some fun with this in the future linking up the blogs of those who
~create handmade with handmade~
If you are interested in joining us for our 1 day sale, to not only create traffic to your shop, but also bring recognition to the concept of ~creating handmade with handmade~ please continue reading. This is a trial run to see if we can link our shops together for one big sale day. The tentative date is set for either Sunday, October 2nd or Tuesday, October 4th. After you have linked your shop using the inlinkz tool at the end of this post, please leave a comment stating which sale day that you think would be best. I'll take the majority vote. Please read through #'s 1-9 below before deciding if you want to be a part of our group sale. This is a first for LMAJ so let's see how it goes! If it is a success, we'll do it again. Thanks, MaryAnn
1. Use the inlinkz link below and type in the necessary information.
2. On the day of the actual sale, you should have something about this sale in your shop and/or personal website announcements.
3. Your shop must include mostly items that are created with handmade. That handmade does not have to be handmade that you create, but you should make sure that the artists are recognized in the item description.
4. If you do create items other than~handmade with handmade~, please renew the items that are mostly handmade on the sale day so that they appear first in your shop order.
5. If you are going to do what is listed in #4 above, please make note of that in your shop announcement since this is a sale promoting handmade with handmade.
6. Use a the coupon code with LMAJ in the beginning of whatever percentage your want to take off. For example, I want to run a 20% off sale. I will use coupon code LMAJ20
Coupon codes will make it easier for you and your shoppers.
7. If you are selling from a site that does not have the coupon code option, please be creative and have buyers enter LMAJ SALE in the comments when checking out of your shop to receive the sale price.
8. Please provide a link back to this blog: http://lovemyartjewelry.blogspot.com in your shop announcement so that people can easily find their way back here to access other shops.
9. Stop back daily to read about any updates regarding this sale.

This will be a fun sale to attend! I'll have holiday shopping in mind as I hop around to see the work~
Great idea!
I was thinking about holidays too! I also thought that if it is a success, we could have another in late November. For anyone reading these comments, please remember that you do not need to be by your computer to participate on this day. You could set up your shop a day early or even a few days early if you want to get a head start on the sale. This group sale will be an opportunity for people to go to each of the shops who will be having sales on the ONE day designated to go cyber sale shopping.

Hi there,
I would love to be apart of this special sale day! I am blog handicapped though so do not know how to use the link to include my shops. Can you please help? I have a ceramic bead shop - www.firedupladiesbeads.com and a finished jewelry shop www.firedupladies.etsy.com that I would like to include.
My email is firesupladies@live.com and I would love to do it on Tues the 4th personally.
Thanks so much!
Regina
I'd love to participate but will be away over that time period.
I think this would be a lot of fun and such a great thing to support handmade. Either date works for me, but I'm thinking maybe 10/2 is best since it's a weekend day. Stat wise - more traffic?
Oh... and when will date be announced so we can get our shop prepared and blog post posted. Thanks!
Hi Regina,
It's easy. You click the blue button that says "Add youe lin" and this will take you to a small window where you will enter your name, email address and your shops URL address. If it were me, I would enter http://macarroll.etsy.com in the URL part. You will be taken to a page that will show you items from that URL link. Just pick one of those, hit submit and you will be done. I hope that helps! Let me know how you make out.

In terms of when we will start to prepare, that will be this Sunday, the 18th. Today is a trial run and then I will get things ready for the real deal including having a button to add to blogs to promote this. You can still participate if you don't have a blog, but if you do, it would be for the good of all of us, if you share this sale with your readers.
MaryAnn
I added links to both my shops - what a great idea!
Hello! This sounds just wonderful - I will add links in my blog as well as Facebook, Etsy and Twitter. Either day sounds good to me, although I lean towards Sunday for Sale Day. :)
I linked my esty shop and hope that I will be able to participate. If I can I will promote your blog and the sale as much as I can. I think it's awesome that you are doing this.
Kind Alohas,
Don't forget to add your link to make sure all goes well and offer an opportunity for other to look at your shops from this post. I will get the ACTUAL sale start up post this Sunday. All who link to that will be the folks that will be linked up on the ONE DAY handmade with handmade SALE. :o)
MaryAnn
I love group sales/blog hops! Don't you just love inlinkz too?!
I like the idea of a Tuesday Sale. Seems that people tend to have a bunch of other stuff going on during weekends now that kids are back in school & craft shows are going on.
Will look for the updates :)
Either day would work for me, but Sunday may give us more traffic. I will promote this on my etsy shop and on facebook. Hope to participate!
Sandra
What a wonderful idea...thank you so much!!! Either day is okay with me since we can set up early. I've already posted a link on my blog...and will promote on Etsy, FB, Twitter and add the button.
So Fun!!!!
