I am taking a break from the cold connections for my post because of the wonderful weekend I had at a local art show. I joined about 18 other artist at Shaw Nature Reserve in Grey Summit MO.
The artists where set up in 4 different cabins in the woods.
The weather was perfect and we had a steady stream of people in and out of the cabins.
The cabins were all built around 1850 and maintained to perfection. They are rented out for weddings, business meetings and family reunions.
This was the main lodge. Each cabin held 4 artist with all different mediums. Each artist was at the top of their game! Beautiful work.
Here is my booth and some other artist.
This was a great felting artist.
This artist combined ceramics and metals. Stunning.
This was another artist who was not only a painter but also ceramics.
And here is my favorite jewelry artist in her wonderful booth. Notice she used wood slices to display her necklaces.
Next week I will return to our theme of Cold Connections.
