we love to profile the work of others - sys is always so inspiring and the hunt for guests to post is a pleasure...
but i thought you might like to see what the group here is up to as we have some very busy ladies -
libby leuchtman is just getting back from the isgb gathering in seattle - i would imagine that after something like that, you are completely & blissfully overstimulated, spend days trying to get every idea you have jotted down and after which you crash... i really look forward to hearing about the experience!
this bead is featured in a project from kerry bogert's book 'totally twisted' - she makes it available for sale so you can do the project as well...
barbara bechtel is getting ready for beadfest philly where she will be sharing a booth with kerry bogert -
august 17th - 19th
tags for bead fest
i really admire how she takes so much pride in each detail...
barbara really has such range in her work - from beautiful color to rustic neutrals...
julie holmes makes in different ways - a multi-faceted talented lady, she is -
copper enameling technique samples for a class she is teaching
a wood sign waiting to be painted
silk wall art waiting for paint
stacie florer is working with a technique called chasing over air using thin gauge sheet metal... beautiful and very lightweight!
staci louise smith has been working on metal etched cuffs
rustic black and grey polymer beads with metal paint on them
a collaborative piece with diana p at suburban girl studio that will be on display at bead fest philly...
kelli pope is a busy woman getting ready for shows - with many pieces in the works and at different stages...
mary ann carroll is continuing to experiment and work with enameling copper tubing with beautiful results
and me?
after spending some time making carvings to use on paper and metal...
i returned to fire -
