wondering how you are doing with your asymmetry challenge!
especially in earrings, as mary ann was saying, it can be hard. so how about finding pieces with the same shape and color - but maybe a different pattern?
i just finished these up yesterday.
you can trick yourself into feeling like they are symmetrical, but they won't be...
not completely.
we're all looking forward to seeing what you are making.
and i really have loved all of the ceramics/clay posts - it's inspiring to see how each person can bring so much individuality to their work by using techniques to create effects they have dedicated time to.

Lovely earrings.
I recently worked on an asymmetric pair of earrings and found them much more difficult than necklaces. Perhaps because you have much less space and materials to achieve a pleasing balance.
I really like these. great texture, and they are perfectly matched, but still asymmetrical. I just love the interest that variation creates in a piece. what Maire said- we can't wait to see what you guys have been doing!
I made up a pair of earrings and used different charms for the bottom.
