Sharing other forms of Art on LMAJ.....

An ancient form of pottery....

MaryAnn Carroll
Wood-firing is an ancient form of creating pottery. It dates back about 4000 years and is inaccessible to most. I am fortunate to be able to have my beads fired every few months using this method. Today, I would like to share some of the beautiful pieces that came out of the most recent firing. These are my husband Bill's little pieces of art......

To learn more about wood-firing, you can visit his website or check out the other links at the end of this post.

Bill's keeps our Facebook page much more updated than I do. You can learn more about what goes into creating these beauties by visiting....

Also, Bill's work can be found at Gallery 54 in Skaneateles, NY and Cinch Art Space in Cortland, NY.
