the weather begins to change... here in the northern hemisphere we edge closer to the seasons of decay... which sets me to musing -
while matter may change states,
its essence does not...
so too for us;
though time and experiences
may affect the shell,
you are you
as you are we...
the light shines from within...
time is making it perfectly clear
that becoming yourself,
becoming free,
is about removing the constructs...
but deep inside, we already know that
don't we?

My shell has definitely changed some over the last few years...my mother reminded me when she visited last that my hair is getting thinner...and I had to work on not getting thin-skinned about it....
