Strut You Stuff Monday

Look who is strutting their stuff this week....................................

Since last weeks post was one piece that was shiny and rustic, this week I thought I'd pick two pieces, one shiny, one rustic.

First for the shiny!

Earthwork Lamwork Bead and Jewellery Design

Amethyst and plum silver necklace

I am so enjoying making jewellery that shows off my lampwork beads to their best. This necklace is made using two tone lentils and a heart with one side in transparent amethyst glass and the other in plum. The join is decorated with silvered ivory stringer and and fine silver wire.

I created this mixed metal cuff using aluminum, heat treated copper, sterling and nickel siver, Mexican fire opal and a gorgeous enamel disc by MaryAnn Carroll. Love the colors and textures....
