What I like best about handmade jewelry--whether made by me or someone else--is the fact that it is one-of-a-kind. I see each piece as a reflection of the designer who made it...an artist. I get a very special feeling when I wear handmade...something I do not feel when I wear "mass produced" jewelry.
Your earrings are lovely....
Gorgeous earrings.
I love the fact even if similar, no 2 pieces of handmade jewellery will ever be exactly the same and that the person who made it was invested in and cared about the piece.
I've shared this giveaway on my facebook page:

definitely, I like that handmade components/jewelry are one of a kind. Even if the artist makes multiples of a design, each one is unique, and made by a real person who is an artist and a craftsman--not a factory worker in a third world country.

What I like about handmade jewelry from other people, is the fact that someone's heart and soul is in each piece....What I like about my own handmade jewelry is it represents to me, my inner self expressing.....

Same as Patti, for me, I love that it is made completely by hand by someone as opposed to using substandard parts or made by slave labor (although as artists maybe I should rephrase that LOL) and the person who made it was proud of what they made!

Handmade jewelry feels "alive" to me. It tells the story of a creative vision. Its like wearing a piece of someone's soul.

Love those, Mary Ann!!!
What I love about hand made jewelry is that the heart of the designer/creator goes in to each piece, and each piece of jewelry is a piece of wearable art.

I like making my own jewelry because it comes from my true self; the self developed from my life experiences, the people who have touched my life and the hopes and dreams of the future. It is now as much a part of me as making food for my children.
A non-negotiable!

Very pretty earrings! Waht I love about handmade jewelry is that no two pieces will ever be identical. Each piece has its own personality. - Lisa L.
Initially, I loved making jewelry because it would fit my large wrist and neck. But after that, I love putting my own touch on a piece, knowing that it didn't just come off a machine.
I have always preferred handmade items to store bought one. I owned a sewing business for years and loved creating everything from clothes, draperies, house hold items and even created dolls that were copywrighted. I started my jewelry business out of the love and admiration of other jewelry designers like myself.

I think I love buying handmade almost as much as making handmade. Everyone one has their own unique styles and generally they are one of a kind. You can just feel how much heart has went into a handmade item.
Love the earrings,

What I like best about handmade by me is it's something no-one else has. And what I like best about handmade by anyone is, it's unique. Textures/ideas that no-one else can usually replicate.
Just tweeted about your giveaway. https://twitter.com/#!/kayzkreationz/status/191504835944787968

What I like about handmade jewelry is that it is unique. There is not another one like it.

MAC - the thing I best loved about hand made jewellery? The the word 'hand' - from the maker's hand; the energy and creativity of the maker's hand. I come to make jewellery mainly by accident. I start out making bigger stuff and just love to make smaller bits from the remnants. I often just see what I do as small wearable sculptures.Love the collaborative nature of what you guys do on LMAJ. Go well. B
