If you enjoyed my post about the Swanstrom Disk Cutter, you might enjoy
seeing what I have been doing with it. I had made some simple hoop
earrings for Christmas presents and decided to keep going in that direction to see where it takes me.
The other day my friend Cathy wore hers to work. They looked great! I
thought for those who like to create their own personal jewelry, these
might be a simple way to put together some very cool earrings. The
cutter saves me time..... but the enameling is a bit time consuming
since I'm trying to achieve a specific look. I have used at least two
different enamels on each of these and multiple enamel dippings....
They're very cool.
As always,
Thank-you for supporting those who create handmade with handmade.

I love these! They make me want a disc cutter even more. Of course I've never tried enameling, but that's on my list too.
Well- I'd say you have mastered enamel! Love how much they compliment your ceramic beads, there are wonderful.
These are beautiful!! A disc cutter is on my wish list especially after trying to cut them with a saw. The enameling results in beautiful, rich and depp colors.
They are beautiful!
Thank-you :o) They are so much fun to make. The other thing I love about this is that I don't have to wait long before seeing the results like I do with ceramics.

Very pretty!
I love my disk cutter but I haven't used it to make copper blanks for enameling-yet. My enamel experience is limited to PMC.
I love the way you mixed the colors on the hoops. Very very nice!! I recently got a copy of Belle Armoire and saw your article. Totally stunning pieces. Love the designs and the beads. I can see how going over to enamel has some crossover with your glazing techniques. You are so great in both!! Congrats again for the article in Belle Armoire.
OMG! These are fantastic colors! I can totally see these as earrings! You are so inspiring!
Thank-you everyone. It is DEFINITELY worth the investment......

MA - the disc cutter look like something worth acquiring but the creativity is in the enamelling - and these pieces look great. B
Gorgeous!!! Can't wait to get a couple of these beauties from you!!! Which Belle Armoire ? I bought a subscription when we started our piece, but I've yet t receive one.... hmmmmmmmmmmm
they are very great - i love the different colors... and one of my favorite things about enamel is the 'playing' with the colors... switching the base and top layers - the opaque and translucent... i should write it down... do you?
