A giveaway x 2

by MaryAnn Carroll

To celebrate our Art Spark theme of gratitude we have two wonderful donations by two wonderful designers.  That means we will also have two winners.  We have changed the format and the day of our giveaway.  They will be posted on the first Monday each month in conjunction with the Art Spark designer.  We will also be offering more than one donation at a time.  If you would like to donate to giveaways, please check out our sponsors page to learn more about it.

Now onto today's donations:

Our first is was created by Erin Praiz-Hintz.  Here's a clip from Erin's shop announcement TesoriTravoti:

AS SEEN ON THE COVER OF STRINGING FALL 2011 & AS SEEN IN BEADS 2011: My new 'simple truths' pendants and charms are here! Combining my love of words with rustic and time-worn looks, I have created something that I love to use in my own jewelry, and I hope you will love to use in yours, too!

You can also share more of your thoughts with Erin by following her blog
You can view Erin's gallery of jewelry on her website.

I'm always grateful for my family and my health. I think too many times we forget to be grateful for the little things.

I am grateful for many things, but for purposes of this entry I will share that first and foremost I am grateful for my family and my three dogs, Justice, Jebadiah and Sophie. I can't begin to describe what they mean to me - the family and the dogs. I have six sisters and a brother and fortunately my mom and dad are still alive. When the chips are down, family is the foundation of everything - and I do mean everything. And, now, just a short list of other things I'm grateful for - that I live in America where opportunity abounds, that I was able to obtain a fine education as an adult and pay for it, that I have the freedom to pursue things that I love doing from hiking in the woods with my dogs to making jewelry, that I own my own home, and oh my, the list is long so I will stop here.

I blogged about this giveaway at my newly created baby blog at www.jeanawells.blogspot.com.

There are many many artists I have discovered over the past couple of years that make handmade components that I really love, but the one I will mention here is Natalie Pappas. I recently purchased a batch of her beads and was blown away by them. Unfortunately, I tend to want to hoarde them .... and they are destined to be shared.

I've arrived at your blog by way of Kristen's blog; "My Bead Journey".
Kristen has a wonderful eye for good blogs and great artists. She, herself is a wonderful blogger and a very talented beader and jewelry maker. So it was no surprise to find a truly lovely blog here at "My Art Jewelry", along with some very exceptional artists. It is my pleasure to now be following this outstanding blog.

Louise,

You do not have to link it back, just like to know where your facebook page is since others may like to "like" facebook pages, etc.
