What cute charms!

I believe the owner of such a piece would feel like it is special, and possibly even think of it as an heirloom to pass down. I often wonder what people in the future would think of the techniques used in current day jewelry, and wonder if they would appreciate them like we do the vintage pieces today. But the best reason to me, is that the piece would most certainly be unique.

I love knowing that someone used their own hands in creating a beautiful piece or pieces that ultimately turned into something beautiful. Every piece has a story from the artist, and I love to knowing that.

I like supporting an artist who has created a piece themselves--not some sweat shop in India or china. It means so much more--like you have a little piece of their original art.

These are cool charms--would love to win them!

I love the uniqueness of a hand made piece of jewelry. There really is not another one exactly like it, similar, maybe, but not exactly like the one you have!

What beautiful and original pendants! I happened to find a Sears catalogue in an antique mall...no, not quite 1935 but it was from the mid-70's and it was sure entertaining to look through! I just don't remember those kind of colors on clothes!
I love handmade jewelry because I know that no two pieces are the same...that love and attention went in to the designing phase all the way through to completing the piece. Made by hand and not mass-produced!

Love the pendants! I think the thing I like the most about a handmade piece is that someone handmade it. That the artist took the time to put some thought and effort into the design; they picked out the components to put that piece together. It is their own little baby that they are selling.

my favorite thing about handmade is knowing the artist has touched every millimeter of the piece--it's a kind of meditation or blessing, this touch.

I think that a completely handmade piece of jewelry is really a work of wearable art. Something truly special and unique. I wish there were more people out there that appreciate this as much as we all do!

Love the pendants- very modern looking! I love handmade (especially things I've made) because I enjoy making, and I enjoy people asking me where I got it and I can reply, "I made it".
