Back from Tennessee and ready to create!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As you can see, Frisco had an AMAZING view from our front porch. (this picture does not do it justice) Not sure about him, but the trees, birds, fresh air, river and mountains rejuvinate and inspire me.
AND, I came home to several new packets of beads!! Funny, how the colors fell right in line with my Fall mood!! The beautiful beads from Mary Ann Carroll will go perfectly with these great pendants from Susan Burge, and metals from Patina Queen and Mamacita.
Below are more of the GORGEOUS pendants from Susan. (I'll check in with her, for all of our interested readers, and see if she's online.) Susan is a local Kentucky potter that I run into at some of my shows. I ADORE handmade pottery. The first time I walked into her booth, I noticed a few pendants for sale among her many GORGEOUS pots, mugs, vases, tumblers, etc. I asked if she would consider making/selling some to me for me to use in my jewelry. To my UTTER JOY, she pulled out this cardboard box FULL of pendants, and let me dig to my heart's delight!! I've never seen 2 pieces exactly alike. Each time I've seen her after that, I've asked if she brought her magic box. When I ran into her a few months ago, she had a new design with trees. I bought a few, and every piece I made with the trees sold first. At my last show, I was SO looking forward to seeing her, and buying ALL of her trees. She was out. :( But, she offered to make what I wanted and send them to me. Below are just a few of the new goodies I came home to. Don't you just LOVE the rustic, earthy colors? Looks like a few of them, might just fit right into the Pantone color chart for Fall, huh?
