Terra Rustica Studio GIVEAWAY!

A short and sweet post from me. A giveaway, from my hands to yours.  

How to win? Simply leave a comment here or on our facebook page. I want to know how you handle stressful times. What do you do that is positive to calm your nerves? I personally venture out into wilderness and vanish among the mountaintops. When I was a young girl and things were stressful or scary, I would climb the tallest tree I could find and sit there for hours.  I would return home with the sweet smell of sap stuck to my fingers and a renewed sense of courage and hope.🌲

I found such solace and peace in those moments, so it's no wonder I escape to the wilderness during uncertain times still to this day. As much as I would love to climb trees, I settle now for just taking their photos.

  2. I handle stressful times by reading my devotionals and Bible. I find comfort in God's word to help through the valleys. Your beads are beautiful and I would be honored to win them and to create wonderful jewelry with them.

  3. During stressful times, I fix myself a drink of choice, go to my room and escape in a book! Or I get in my car and take a long drive out in the country, with the music going and just seeing a whole lot of nothing takes all the stress out of me.

  4. In times of stress, I like to knit or paint. I discovered these activities not only make the time goes fly but makes me forget of my worries.
    I also walk my dog, I enjoy the trees, the birds & the sun.

  5. So surprised to see the beautiful sculpture because this is exactly what I have begun doing to destress. My life is new in many ways, I have recently retired and begun my new metal arts busuness, Santa Rosa Silver. Ti Chi is something new for me and I am learning to destress with meditation! I love the beautiful poem and unbelievable sculpture. Have a wonderful day!

  6. Stressed? I go to the woods and rivers; lots to choose from among the park systems in Northeast Ohio. Yesterday, I drove through and stopped from time to time to sketch and photograph, as I searched for amazing, colorful remnants of fall leaves and moving waters. What a celebration!

  8. I was once a tree climber too! I loved climbing up and getting perched just right on the perfect branch where I'd read or just take time to think. I still enjoy getting outdoors when stressed, but I also enjoy making art during stressful times. This might be through crochet, jewelry, writing, card making......just creating.   9. I escape to the ocean when I can. There's nothing like the wind and the waves, the sounds and the scents of the sea to put everything in perspective.

  10. I like to spend time at the coast, walking on the beach, feeling the ocean scented air blowing through my hair, watching the waves crash....being at the beach has always renewed and refreshed me

  11. I find reading a book or making beads is a great escape stress. Also I try to exercise everyday and the weather here in Florida has been beautiful. I look for turtles and wildlife on my walks and just enjoy being outdoors.

  12. Sitting quietly on my back porch with a cup of coffee, looking for movement of birds or other creatures in the woods (in my backyard).

  13. I find making things like jewelry, cards etc. helps to calm me. I also do yoga or walk and enjoy nature daily. I feel like 1 hour of outdoors activity is of huge value physically and mentally.

  14. Snowshoeing with dear friends, then sitting in front of the fire with a hot toddy! Beading with a friend who taught me how - all ways to relax and de-stress!

  15. The hardest thing for me is to recognize that my stress is based upon how I've chosen to react. To destress, I get up out of my chair, walk outside, breathe, find something beautiful to appreciate, give thanks to the Lord for crafting it, and return to my art to recreate with renewed inspiration. Your gift to the community is so generous! You are an inspiration!

  18. For me to destress I play with my beads, sometimes just holding them is calming. I also go for a drive. I am alone in the car and I can scream, cry, yell and get out all my stress. I also can sing off key without judgement!

  20. I need a quiet place to pray and think about what's stressing me, how I'm reacting to it and what I may be able to do about it. Recognizing why I'm so stressed out helps me to curb my tendency to overreact.
