It's actually pretty fun.

I like the texture a lot too Maire, I will remember to seal the back for sure!

I was wondering too Staci, if fine silver would be better. I used sterling. I wonder if it would give more of a silver look, or if the oxide from the copper would still tarnish the finished look. Worth a try!Carol Deklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13342285917792504286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010443633955755126.post-5783558929280916512016-01-23T10:58:44.350-05:002016-01-23T10:58:44.350-05:00Did you use sterling or fine silver to fuse to the...Did you use sterling or fine silver to fuse to the copper?

stacilouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14337978880639296378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010443633955755126.post-32063486160318112152016-01-22T12:40:40.073-05:002016-01-22T12:40:40.073-05:00that's so funny, as i was reading i was going ...that's so funny, as i was reading i was going to write about fusing sterling to copper. i've been doing that for years and you get wonderful texture. you just need to seal your copper on the back so people's skin doesn't turn green!
your pieces are beautiful.mairedoddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01518352870828784085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9010443633955755126.post-32789100272104224182016-01-20T02:53:22.337-05:002016-01-20T02:53:22.337-05:00Awesome post Carol!
